Vort’n Vis is a non-commercial music venue, run entirely by volunteers. Since 1989 it has given underground bands a stage. From the bar to the bookings to the door, everything runs on people who believe the underground deserves a home.
Everyone is welcome here. We don’t make room for racism, sexism or gatekeeping. Come for the show, stay for the community.
The whole place runs on volunteers and solidarity. There are plenty of ways to pitch in:
- Join a work shift behind the bar or the door
- Become a member and keep the lights on
- Play, book, or simply spread the word
